Debug (Repair) Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware failures on servers, computer systems, and electronic equipment.
• Perform component replacement and repair activities.
• Execute root cause analysis to identify and resolve system issues.
• Perform testing, validation, and retesting after repairs.
• Accurately document repair findings and actions taken.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve recurring issues.
• Meet daily production and repair goals while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in electronic repair, hardware troubleshooting, or technical repair environments.
• Experience repairing one or more of the following: Computers or laptops, Servers or networking equipment, Mobile phones or tablets, Gaming consoles, Consumer electronics, Automotive electronics, Industrial or manufacturing equipment, Telecommunications equipment.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing or repair environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with server hardware, rack systems, or data center equipment.
• Experience with component-level troubleshooting and repair.
• Soldering, rework, or board-level repair experience.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, or technical drawings.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, ACMT, or electronics-related certifications.
