Debt Verification Generalist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Verification Generalist to join our team. This contract opportunity is well suited for someone who can evaluate account information carefully, confirm debt balances, and interpret judgment-related details with accuracy. The role is fully onsite and offers the chance to contribute to a structured auditing environment while supporting documentation review and compliance-focused verification work. Responsibilities:• Examine account records to confirm debt details and identify discrepancies in balances or supporting information.• Assess financial data related to outstanding accounts, including interest calculations connected to judgments.• Gather and organize court judgment materials and other relevant documents needed to validate account status.• Compare documentation against account information to ensure records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.• Maintain clear verification notes and update case details to support internal review processes.• Work closely with team members to resolve missing information and clarify inconsistencies in account files.• Follow established compliance and audit standards when handling debt-related records and documentation. • At least 1 year of experience in debt review, account verification, auditing support, or a related function. • Working knowledge of debt documentation, balance validation, and compliance-focused record review. • Ability to understand judgment details, including interest-related information tied to account balances. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies and missing documentation. • Proficiency in organizing records and maintaining accurate case or account information. • Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams. • Availability to work onsite in Greenville, South Carolina for a permanent 40-hour schedule.
