About the role

The Dean, School of Health Professions will build upon the School’s legacy of excellence in education, research, and clinical service, while exploring opportunities to expand program offerings and interprofessional learning.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead an academic, clinical, and research enterprise with the ability to foster programmatic growth through innovation and collaboration.
  • Participate as a senior member of the health science center’s leadership team, promoting excellence in collaborative education, research, and practice.
  • Ensure the continuation of improving health in Texas and around the world.

Requirements

  • Hold a Doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DSc) or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field.

Qualifications

  • Nationally recognized scholar with a strong track record of academic excellence and professional accomplishment.
  • Demonstrated success in leading an academic, clinical, and research enterprise.
  • Ability to foster programmatic growth through innovation and collaboration.
