Dealership Porter/Courtesy Driver

About the role

Join a team that keeps our dealership moving! H.E. McGonigal Buick Cadillac GMC is looking for a Full-Time Porter/Courtesy Driver to join our Service Department.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers to and from the dealership
• Pick up and deliver customer vehicles
• Move and park vehicles throughout the service department and dealership lot
• Keep the service drive, parking areas, and customer waiting areas clean and organized
• Aid Service Advisors with customer vehicle flow
• Perform dealership errands and inter-company deliveries as needed
• Help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of courtesy vehicles
• Aid with other duties that support the service team

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Friendly, professional attitude with excellent customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the day

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Hours are flexible but typically include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Skills

Strong communication and customer service skills, ability to lift heavy objects, and proficiency with basic office equipment.
