About the role
This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all dealership vehicle inventory
- Utilize digital key management system to ensure all keys are securely stored and correctly listed
- Work with vehicle inventory technology to quickly and accurately track car locations, conditions, and statuses within the dealership lots
- Park and arrange vehicles in designated areas of the lot to maintain an organized and attractive display
- Receive new vehicle shipments, inspect them for damage, and verify that all accessories and other needed items are present
- Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure all vehicles are accounted for and properly logged
- Report directly to the sales managers to provide necessary support
- Organize buyer guides and stock tags
- Manage lot logistics safely and effectively
- Provide correct documentation of vehicles arriving for inventory to the needed departments
- Prepare vehicles for customer test drives and delivery when needed, including filling the fuel tank
- Identify and report any vehicle maintenance issues or lot damage to the appropriate supervisor
- Complete pre-delivery inspection forms accurately
- Move vehicles as needed to support sales and service departments
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly lot environment by removing trash and debris to ensure a customer-friendly environment
Requirements
- Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and meet our driver's eligibility guidelines
- High school Diploma or similar
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable, positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part team
- Available to work a full-time schedule
- Previous dealership or lot experience (preferred)
- Basic familiarity with vehicles (preferred)
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- One-hour lunch break
- Overtime available when approved and needed by dealership
