Dealer Trainee - Part Time (Harrah's Atlantic City)

About the role

Delivers great customer service by learning core games offered by the property in a friendly and helpful manner with an upbeat/positive attitude. Support and always maintain property courtesy guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to demonstrate an effective working knowledge of dealing policies and gaming procedures
• Learn how to deal games in accordance with internal controls and the New Jersey Division of Gaming regulations and company policy
• Able to learn applicable departmental dealer efficiency metrics
• Always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same
• Responsible for learning the protection and control of the game
• Learn how to exchange currency for gaming chips and pay or collect bets according to house rules in an accurate manner

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• This position will require an NJ CER License. Candidates are responsible for obtaining the required licensure
• Excellent customer service skills are essential
• Must be able to perform basic math quickly
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
• Must present a well-groomed appearance
• Well-developed interpersonal skills
• Must enjoy entertaining and communicating with the public
• Must be able to pass a math test and customer service focused panel before being accepted to this training program
• Must be able to work varied shifts during a 24-hour period, weekends and holidays are required as needed
• Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts or stressful customer interactions
