Dealer Trade Driver
Dealer Trade Driver position at a high-volume Suburban Ford of Waterford location.
Schedule
This position requires open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. Successful candidates will be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak sales periods.

Responsibilities
- Ensure that vehicle identification numbers and stock numbers of each vehicle match paperwork.
- Ensure copies of dealer invoice accompany paperwork for each vehicle.
- Ensure that the vehicle being traded is clean and undamaged before leaving the lot.
- Notify GSM or Manager on duty immediately if any damage is found on a vehicle being traded.
- Ensure all reference guides, keys, wheel locks, etc., accompany all traded vehicles and deliver this information to the appropriate manager when the trade is complete.
- Thoroughly inspect newly traded vehicles, inside and out, before accepting delivery from the dealership.
- If damage is found (e.g., scratches, door dings), contact GSM or Manager on duty before leaving their lot. Do not return with a damaged vehicle unless you have notified the GSM or Desk Manager.
- Note any missing keys, books, wheel locks, floor mats, etc. Make every effort to ensure these items accompany the appropriate vehicle.
- Verify that accessories listed are actually on the vehicle.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Sense of urgency
- Excellent communication skills
- Typing – ability to type efficiently to enter accurate information into tracking system
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older
