Responsibilities

• Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in full, clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a heads-up, ready-to-serve mentality.
• Greets all guests and fellow team members warmly and professionally, in line with our Family Style Service culture.
• Deals casino games as assigned in order to provide a courteous and entertaining experience for Harrah’s guests and generate revenue for the department.
• Provides game instructions to guests when requested or as assigned in order to encourage game activity.
• Sponsors new dealers as needed in order to provide new hires with adequate on-the-job training.
• Provides game protection by keeping visual contact of all guests and game layout.
• Initiates courteous and friendly conversation with guests.
• Stays informed on property and departmental promotions and events.
• Works well with others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain Missouri Gaming License.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
• Able to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
• Able to communicate clearly and tactfully.
• Must be able to count currency.
• Must be able to deal all games certified.
• Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality.
• Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.

Pay

This position typically starts at $7.50 per hour (plus tips) and works a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays.
