Dealer School - Black Jack/Novelty Games-Class Begins August 17th

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old to attain a State Gaming License.
• Successfully pass a math test.
• Successfully pass a chip identification color-blind test.
• Complete and pass ALL required training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Gaming school certificate or successful completion of dealing audition required.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to calculate mathematical computations quickly and accurately.
• Team-oriented.

• Classes are unpaid and no cost to attend.
• Class Dates: Monday 8/17 for 12 weeks ending on Friday 11/6.
• Class Sessions: Mon. – Thurs. 3 ½ hours each day.
• Class Times: mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
• Friday’s will be make-up and/or practice days.
• Foxwoods/Department Orientation: Mandatory. Monday October 5th and Tuesday October 6th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

Pay

(Must be able to stand for one hour period with a twenty minute break.) The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. Frequent leaning, upper and lower arm reaching and slight bending at the waist.

Schedule

Environment is that of a casino floor dealing with the general public in a fast-paced atmosphere with a moderate amount of noise and smoke. Part-time positions and must be flexible to all shifts.
