About the role
Mobility Credit Union is seeking an individual to join our team. This position requires developing and maintaining strong partnerships with dealerships across the Dallas-Fort Worth area and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Identify and call on dealerships to establish and maintain indirect lending channels.
- Promote the use of Credit Union’s loan service and other financial services among the dealer network.
- Identify areas for improvement or enhancement in existing credit union programs.
- Develop plans to introduce new market areas and product types to the dealer network.
- Train finance personnel at dealerships and within the credit union to ensure they are knowledgeable about the program requirements and procedures.
- Maintain and report on dealer/network activity monthly.
- Underwrite loans and provide lending support.
- Respond to dealer inquiries, resolve complaints, and follow up on member requests.
- Assist dealers with closing loans and resolve issues within their authority.
- Monitor and measure the performance of dealers.
- Maintain compliance with loan terms and conditions.
Qualifications
- A high school education or equivalent.
- Strong sales skills.
- Basic understanding of Credit Union operations.
- Knowledge of Credit Union loan services, policies, and procedures.
- Understanding of related legal and regulatory standards, and required loan documentation.
- Excellent interviewing, communication, and public relations skills.
- Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Strong analytical and financial skills.
- Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment.
- Good typing and math skills.
- Physical strength to exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently.
