Dealer Part Time (The Flamingo, LV)

Responsible for

• Deals assigned games by delivering cards or assigned games pieces, determining winners and losers, collecting, and paying bets
• Protects the integrity of games through observation and follows appropriate procedures
• Greets and recruits new casino customers while providing friendly, excellent service to every guest

Qualifications

• Must present a well-groomed appearance
• Age requirements: 21 years of age
• 6 months multiple games dealing experience required in (Current specific games requirements, ie., Blackjack, Roulette, Craps/Dice, Baccarat, and /or Pai Gow)
• Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills
• Must be willing to work any day of the week and any shift
• Must be able to have a good relationship co-workers and work as a team
• Cards Needed: Gaming License

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to respond calmly and manage many customers’ demands in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to memorize game rules and procedures as well as perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets quickly and accurately
• Must be able to accurately balance chip bank at the beginning and end of shift
• Must have excellent vision (including peripheral) to protect the games
• Must be able to read, verify, and sign appropriate documents relating to the game in a small area
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust
