About the role

The Table Games Dealer is responsible for running a table game in a professional manner, protecting company assets by adhering to company policies and all state and regulatory compliance, including Internal Controls Policies and Procedures, the Responsible Gaming Plan, and Title 31. The Dealer provides an exciting environment and World Class Service by delivering Old-World Hospitality and Charm.

Pay

$14.81–$16.45 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Conduct operation of table games with strict adherence to Internal Control Policies and Procedures and Game Rules
  • Know and deliver the company core values
  • Ensure proper documentation of any presented pit paperwork (fills, markers, etc.)
  • Responsible for accuracy of table bank
  • Explain rules and answer questions for guests
  • Notify shift supervisor of irregularities in customers' play
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Attend to guests' needs
  • Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs
  • Effectively handle customer concerns and requests
  • Maintain complete confidentiality of all company information
  • Act in the capacity of other positions as needed
  • Provide excitement by delivering Old-World Hospitality and Charm
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned by department and/or company management
  • Attend required training sessions offered by the casino
  • Obtain required license(s)
  • Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations
  • Take necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble, loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco
  • Knowledge of ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the department
  • Knowledge of the property’s programs to address problem gambling
  • Consult with appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and Internal Controls
  • Investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to the appropriate levels of management
  • Report any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any team member

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and comprehend technical procedures, government regulations, business periodicals, instructions, and correspondence/memos
  • Professionalism and ability to handle high levels of stress
  • Flexible with schedules; days-off and shift may change based on company need
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
  • Must be able to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours
  • Majority of the shift spent on the casino floor, subject to varying levels of crowds, noise, and smoke

Skills

  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment with low lighting, noise, loud music, and multiple distractions while multi-tasking
  • Physically mobile with the ability to move around all work areas effectively and efficiently with reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces or crowded conditions
