About the role
The Dealer Accounts Management Specialist will manage and resolve dealer complaint accounts to minimize company losses. This role involves communicating with customers, dealerships, and internal departments to address mechanical, registration, or other customer concerns.
Responsibilities
- Maintain business relationships with existing dealers and customers.
- Communicate with Customers, Dealer Marketing Managers, Regional Managers, and Dealers to resolve complaint accounts.
- Initiate outbound calls to Customers and Dealerships regarding the resolution of complaint accounts.
- Routinely communicate with internal departments, accurately track, follow up, and perform regular action plans to resolve dealer complaint concerns.
- Evaluate customer's concern or request to determine the best solution from management.
- Educate the customer on any required course(s) of action on a case-by-case basis.
- Aid borrowers in devising a strategy to keep their vehicle while meeting loan obligations.
- Update account information in accordance with established procedures and security guidelines, and perform accurate account documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service and/or collections field, preferably in subprime auto finance.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.
- Ability to interact professionally, tactfully, and sensitively with others.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and work independently and as part of a team.
