What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary commercial advisor to North America Enterprise Sales across the full sales cycle — deal structure, margins, pricing strategy, and commercial terms.
- Model and evaluate complex deal structures including multi-year commits, ramp pricing, volume tiers, and enterprise license agreements, balancing customer economics with business objectives.
- Own cross-functional management for non-standard deals, coordinating across Finance, Legal, and RevOps to reach alignment without stalling the close.
Pricing Governance & Process
- Apply and evolve Yext's pricing policies and approval frameworks — maintaining deal templates, playbooks, and escalation paths that scale with the business.
- Partner with key stakeholders and sales leadership to maintain consistency between deal execution and broader commercial strategy.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI tools to deal review, scenario modeling, and workflow automation, and advocate for their adoption.
Coaching and Team Development
- Mentor deal strategy analysts on commercial judgment, not just process execution.
- Help build the function's reputation as a trusted sales partner, not a compliance layer.
Insights & Reporting
- Track deal metrics including discount rates, approval cycle times, and ACV trends, and surface patterns that inform commercial strategy.
- Build and maintain dashboards that give Sales and Finance leadership visibility into deal quality and pipeline health.
- Translate deal activity into actionable insights for QBR and executive reporting.
What You Have
- 6+ years in Deal Strategy, Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, FP&A or Revenue Accounting in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Genuine curiosity about AI tools and how they could be applied to workflows and analysis.
- Commercial instincts — you understand margin, unit economics, and what a ‘good’ deal looks like.
- Strong Salesforce, CPQ, Excel and BI tool experience preferred.
- The ability to earn credibility with sales reps under pressure, and hold a commercial position without creating unnecessary friction.
- Experience coaching or mentoring junior analysts.
- Clear, concise communicator — you can translate complex deal economics into a crisp recommendation for a senior audience.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
