Description And Responsibilities

The Job Developer at Open Sky’s DDS Employment Services supports individuals aged 22-55 who receive day support services. Their primary goals are to help individuals choose, acquire, and maintain jobs of their choice, and to develop valued roles within their communities. Individuals may face unique safety, behavioral, or other clinical challenges. The Job Developer collaborates with community members and organizations to find employment opportunities and community-based roles.

• Negotiate and execute letters of agreement and contracts between Open Sky, employers, and community organizations.
• Aid in service facilitation by assessing, developing, and implementing service plans, career plans, and behavioral support plans.
• Maintain a database of contacts and job development resources.
• Analyze current job trends and labor market information to adapt to changing market conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, required.
• Previous experience in marketing and employment services, required.
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving history, required.
