Responsibilities
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks and routine repairs on automated material handling system components.
- Respond to system issues involving conveyors, PIE, sortation and controls (EMS, WCS, Sort Director, EWM, Hardware, and Software).
- Basic troubleshooting/diagnostic and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and control system components of the conveyor system and building components, including PLCs, DC drivers, AC invertors, linear motors, VFDs, encoders, scanners, power distribution, communication systems, computer-controlled building systems, conveyor systems and maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Operate all material handling and mobile equipment within the Distribution Center.
- Work at heights and in unusual positions.
- Must be available for 24-hour on-call rotation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of building and equipment maintenance with two years maintaining Dematic or similar conveyor systems.
- 2+ years of experience with AC drives (set-up, programming, faults).
- Familiarity with Microsoft and CMMS programs.
- Experience with power distribution, power generation, control circuits, electrical test equipment, hand tools, power tools, calipers, and gauges.
- Experience reading and interpreting Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEO) drawings and schematics.
- Can frequently lift, push, and slide packages typically weighing 50-75lbs.
Compensation
This position is hourly, and the starting pay rate is $25/hour. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to $0.00 or %, based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change.
