DC Security Specialist, DCC Communities

About the role

AWS is growing rapidly and is seeking a Data Center Security Specialist (DSS) to join its Infrastructure Operations team. The DSS will manage and improve site security operations in AWS data centers.

Responsibilities

• Manage physical security operations
• Develop post orders, define security procedures, and handle site incidents
• Work with security equipment and participate in construction projects
• Drive day-to-day process improvement activities and manage vendors
• Ensure consistent deployment of all required security policies and procedures
• Participate in recurring site audits and reviews and test new security technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice or a relevant field
• Experience using CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems
