DC-Picker/Packer, 1st Shift, 6:00am-2:30pm, M-F

About the role

The Shipping & Receiving Operator coordinates shipping documents and reconciles production reporting daily; prepares transport documents for out‑of‑country shipments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents
• Prepare shipping documents, including out‑of‑country shipments
• Ensure required documents are accurately completed and maintained in an orderly file
• Accurately and timely complete entries into BAAN/SAP
• Create plan shipment documents
• Provide backup coverage for Logistics Specialist and other department employees when assigned
• Operate a lift truck and possess or be able to obtain a forklift truck license
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution and at least 1‑year experience in an administrative support role and/or shipping/receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center
• Ability to use computer systems including MRP and MS Office
• Ability to read and interpret documents in local language, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to do mathematical functions, including add, subtract, multiply, divide, interpret Pareto Charts, Bar graphs, Flow charts, and other quality tools
• Ability to operate a lift truck and have or be able to obtain a forklift truck license
• Work in an office setting with minimal physical demands
• Ability to drive a company vehicle and pass the company’s driving requirements; certain vehicles may require a specific driver’s license and have additional driving requirements
