DC Materials Handler - Outbound

Compensation pay range: $21.50 - $23.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance premiums, which may be paid in amounts ranging per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of job functions associated with maintaining inventory integrity and availability throughout the distribution center by properly handling product.
- Complete any tasks required by DC leadership, especially in designated areas (e.g., Inbound, Outbound, Quality Assurance).
- Research inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas, including cleaning up spills.
- Observe all safety rules and regulations.
- Serve as a trainer for team members with experience, ensuring training is conducted on schedule and documentation is completed.
- Explain specific job duties and functions to new and existing team members, including departmental or procedural changes.
- Operate safely and report unsafe practices or situations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by DC Management.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills.
- Must complete and pass a company-standardized test.
- Ability to work closely and collaboratively with others.
- Ability to read and match numerical and alphanumeric characters quickly and accurately.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a warehouse environment.
- Alphanumeric stocking or RF-directed stocking experience.
- Familiarity with automotive parts.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
