DC LOGISTICS MANAGER

Description Summary

The DC Logistics Manager oversees the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of material for all Data Center projects. They ensure productivity targets are achieved and warehouse processes run smoothly and promptly, adhering to quality, health, and safety standards.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage the logistics, transportation, and customer services
• Direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order cycle
• Initiate and implement processes and procedural improvements for operations and field personnel
• Examine levels of current supplies, excess materials, and market shortages to reduce inventory issues
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies and discrepancies
• Analyze and prepare inventory reports
• Cookcycle regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits
• Travel to other MP locations to train new inventory personnel
• Supervise, coach, and train inventory department workforce
• Follow all company safety regulations when using equipment
• Participate in safety training as required by position
• Perform paperwork filing and maintenance as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Education And Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management
• Understanding of materials used in construction or specific project
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to lead others
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Effective interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
• Valid Drivers License

Physical Demands

• Focusing on a computer screen for several hours at a time
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Must be able to endure activity involved with the job including prolonged and repeated lifting, bending, crouching, climbing, kneeling, reaching, standing, and walking
