DC Load Inspector 1st Shift and 2nd Shift

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Counts picked pallets as brought to shipping dock.
• Records and reports findings; has product changed or fixed as needed.
• Checks the number of pallets and ensures correct items on outbound loads.
• Moves products and pallets using a hand jack (pump jack).
• Performs cycle or other inventory counting tasks.
• Generates daily, weekly, or monthly written reports and forms.
• Follows company safety guidelines and Good Warehousing Practices.
• Affords assistance to inventory coordinator and supervisor as required.
• Reports data and completes other assigned tasks.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.

Job Specifications

• Warehouse or Quality experience is preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficient in basic math skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English and be understood.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment.
• The environment will be wet and cold with temperatures ranging from 0°F to 110°F.
• Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger activities.
• Repetitive lifting, kneeling, and bending with packages in excess of 75 lbs. is required.
• Requires walking and standing for long periods of time.
• Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.

Compensation

• $18.21 - $20.94 Non-Exempt (Hourly)
