We’re looking for an Inventory Control Manager to join our Riverside Distribution Center. This role is critical in managing inventory control for all online fulfillment orders and ensuring customer satisfaction.

About the role

You will coordinate with the Distribution Center Operations team and Finance to establish and maintain a robust cycle count program. As the primary point of contact for all client and finance-related inventory control issues, you will support all distribution centers by managing the company’s regionalized Inventory Control System. This role involves analytical and data-driven continuous improvement, project management, and close collaboration with the Customer Service team to identify and resolve inventory control opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure inventory control and cycle count programs align with Finance and client expectations and remain consistent across sites.
  • Develop reporting metrics for Finance and Operations regarding cycle count and cancellation results.
  • Keep Finance and Operations teams updated on cycle count results and trends.
  • Assist in testing and rolling out fulfillment system upgrades, enhancements, or new packages.
  • Collect, organize, and evaluate data and trends to identify cost-reduction opportunities and improve customer service performance.
  • Identify trends and opportunities that impact the fulfillment process and customer service experience to raise fulfillment center quality and cancellation standards.
  • Work closely with the Operations team and individual sites to drive efficiencies, accountability, productivity, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Coordinate with clients and conduct annual physical inventories.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fulfillment center or warehouse/distribution center supervising 20+ people.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of working with multiple small parcel carriers.

Pay

$85,000 - $90,000 a year. The final salary will be determined based on factors such as education, location, meeting minimum job requirements, training, and experience.
