DC Equipment Operator (2nd and 3rd shift)

About the role

Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Equipment Operator for an immediate need. This position operates 2nd Shift (3p-11:30p) or 3rd Shift (9p-5:30a) and offers a competitive pay range of $15.00 - $23.79 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the day-to-day workflow of the department
• Aid in meeting daily, weekly, and monthly department goals
• Resolve day-to-day operational issues
• Train and motivate subordinates to improve performance
• Cultivate an environment of continuous improvement by improving efficiency, accuracy, quality, and reducing costs
• Work with the team to maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe department at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory
• 3 years plus warehouse experience
• Proven ability to train others
• Full proficiency in multiple core warehouse functions
• Proven understanding of safety regulations and procedures
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer proficient
• Strong organizational skills and leadership qualities
