DC ASSOCIATE W/FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE-(3rd shift)

About the role

Performs various Distribution functions such as, but not limited to: receiving, counting, validating, documenting, shipping, equipment operation, etc. Develops relationships both inside and outside of the company and represents the organization in a professional manner.

Schedule

3rd shift role.

Responsibilities

• Validate and sign off on vendor deliveries.
• Load/Unload trucks as needed.
• Kit, verify, count all fab shop and job site materials.
• Update Bill of Material spreadsheets.
• Drive company vehicle to vendors' DCs to pick up Will Call material.
• Stock and document material.
• Pull orders for delivery to job sites, ensuring items pulled are correct and in working order.
• Operate sit‑down propane forklift to store/pull product from floor and pallet rack locations.
• Meet all production and job site schedule deadlines.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization in the warehouse is at optimal levels.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years prior Distribution Center or Warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience required.
• Background in plumbing, sheet metal and/or construction preferred.
• Experience in Inventory Control, Inventory Management, Manufacturing & Production will be considered.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.

• May involve working in varying temperatures depending on the facility.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Special Requirements

Valid Driver’s License.
