About the role
As a DBT Team Lead at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will participate in Minnesota’s leading adherent DBT program certified by the Department of Human Services (DHS). You will work alongside a team of DBT-Linehan Board Certified Clinicians to design and implement treatment/interventions reflective of identified patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the DBT team, fostering collaboration, morale, and clinical excellence.
- Provide clinical supervision, case consultation, and ongoing training to ensure adherence to DBT best practices.
- Oversee DBT program operations, including consultation team meetings, phone coaching coverage, and maintenance of program materials and forms.
- Ensure compliance with DBT, DHS, and organizational standards, policies, and documentation requirements.
- Monitor and report program outcomes through data collection, analysis, and submission of required attestations.
- Deliver direct patient care, including diagnostic assessments, individual therapy, and co-facilitation of DBT groups.
- Maintain accurate health records, coordinate care with other professionals, and actively participate in clinical meetings, reviews, and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Mental Health Professional as per Minnesota State Statute 245i.04.02 regulations.
- Unrestricted license (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, or LP).
- Has successfully completed DBT Foundational Training and DBT Team Lead Training under the guidance of the Executive DBT Director or DBT Associate Director.
- Multiple years of experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience in providing therapy to individuals with severe mental illness.
- Experience working in a team-based setting.
- Experience with evidence-based treatments, particularly Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Skills
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of DBT principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
This is an exempt position. Total earnings for this position will range from $80,000 - $90,000 annually. Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as licensure, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location. Estimates are factored on a 1.0 FTE. Employees in these positions are W2.
