What You’ll Do At DBH

• Deliver recovery-focused patient care in a supportive setting.
• Collaborate with medical colleagues and peer consultation teams.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, examinations, and analyses to diagnose and treat patients.
• Prescribe necessary medications and lead Treatment Team meetings.
• Administer and monitor psychopharmacological, psychotherapeutic, and other relevant treatments.
• Offer both individual and group therapy sessions.
• Avoid seeking consultations, referrals, or transfers as needed.
• Coordinate with external psychiatrists and healthcare providers.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all activities and treatments.
• Provide guidance to professional, paraprofessional, nursing, and direct care staff.

• Certificate to practice medicine per Section 4731.13 of Revised Code.
• Satisfactory completion of residency training program in psychiatry.
