Daytime In Home Caregiver

About the role

Join Right at Home as a caregiver and assist seniors and disabled adults in Northwest Indiana with activities of daily living, in their homes or care facilities. Available shifts include days, evenings, nights, weekends, overnights, and live-ins. Opportunities are available in Munster, Valparaiso, Crown Point, Schererville, Dyer, Hammond, Gary, Merrillville, Cedar Lake, Michigan City, and more.

Responsibilities

• Companionship and conversation
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Dressing and grooming
• Transferring and positioning
• Bathing and showering

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-year experience caring for a senior or adult
• Ability to competently perform assigned tasks
• Good communication skills
• Warmth and compassion for people under your care
• Completion of a criminal background check, BMV check, TB test, and drug screen
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
