About the role

As a Part-time Cleaning Professional, you will be the primary point of contact to ensure facilities cleanliness, helping to provide a clean and welcoming environment for patients and employees. This role focuses on implementing infection control measures to maintain a safe and healthy environment, with frequent cleaning of high-touch areas in public spaces to prevent contamination and the spread of germs.

Responsibilities

• Implement and comply with infection control measures to ensure a safe and healthy Health Center.
• Complete frequent cleaning throughout high-traffic areas, including handrails, chairs, and other surfaces.
• Assist co-workers with occasional spills, storm-related debris, and other incidents as needed.
• Maintain cleaning documentation as required by your supervisor in accordance with Health Center standards.
• Maintain high confidentiality and compliance with all policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable in cleaning and sterilization best practices or willing to learn.
• Physically able to complete duties requiring long periods of standing, sitting, stretching, and arm lifting.
• Physically able to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis.
• Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor when working with co-workers and contractors.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Experience cleaning in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.

Pay

$16.50 per hour

Schedule

• Part-time, 25 hours per week
• 5-hour shifts, Monday through Friday during business hours
