Daytime Caregiver - Westside

About the Role

Support an individual to live their best life in a non-profit agency in Madison, WI that assists adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their home and community.

Responsibilities

• Provide full personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide companionship and engage in activities
• Create a calm and soothing atmosphere
• Encourage communication and help the individual express themselves
• Develop a trusting relationship, honoring the individual's autonomy
• Have fun and assist with things the individual wants and needs

Requirements

• Must have a WI Driver's License and clean driving record to drive Options Van

Schedule

• Monday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Saturday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Set schedule with options to pick up more hours

Pay

• Extra pay when filling in ($2.50/hr)
• Paid holidays (1.5x your pay rate)
• Overtime pay
