Daytime Caregiver Opportunity

About the role

Ability and Choice Services, Inc. (ACS) is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as a Daytime Caregiver. Positions are available both entry level and lead, with opportunities across the Wasatch Front, including Salt Lake County and Tooele Counties.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with developmental disabilities and brain injuries in daily activities such as medication administration, personal hygiene, shopping, meal preparation, transportation, and housekeeping.
• Play a key role in mentoring, teaching new skills, and supporting community involvement.
• For select positions, a vehicle, phone, and laptop/tablet may be provided by the company.

Who Should Apply?

Anyone 18 years or older with a passion for serving people with developmental disabilities. Candidates should have a smartphone, reliable transportation, a good driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. They must also be able to pass a background check and drug test. A CNA qualification is beneficial but not mandatory - comprehensive training is provided for the right candidate.

• Due to the nature of the people we serve, Federal and State laws require a criminal background review.
