About the role

The Therapist at Eagleville Hospital will provide high-quality therapeutic services to patients within the healthcare setting. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health and substance use disorders, with the aim of improving patients' overall well-being and helping them achieve their personal recovery goals. The Therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care and support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their mental health and substance use treatment needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health and substance use disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in therapy and mental health care.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures related to therapeutic services.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to ensure patient safety and well-being.
