Dayshift Production Worker/ Turno de Dia Produccion

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supports Allen Harim’s mission, vision and values
• Must be able to continuous standing for long periods of time
• Employee must be able to work in cold and hot environments of varying degrees
• Responsible for carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling product or objects varying from 2 ounces to 40 pounds
• Responsible for wearing, using and maintaining personal protective equipment
• Must be able to continuously extend, flex and grasp using hands and arms
• Employee must be able to maintain a variety of repetitive hand and arm movements
• Responsible for ensuring the proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment
• Able to communicate effectively and follow instruction in verbal and written form
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous poultry experience a plus

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk and hear
• Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, bend, sit and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Repetitive Motion

Work Environment

• The job operates in a poultry plant environment
• The environment can be wet, cold, noisy and odorous
• Safety protection is provided
