Job Description:

Responsible for providing supportive non-clinical care to individuals to ensure their safety and well-being. Schedules can vary from 2-hour shifts to 24/7 care, offering flexibility in part-time, full-time, or available positions.

Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver's license, working vehicle, and current, up-to-date insurance
• Must adhere to plans of care for the client
• Must be flexible with schedules per client needs
• One year of in-home caregiver experience preferred
• Must have good communication skills, including active listening
• Must be able to handle emergencies calmly and inform staff of any changes to client status

Responsibilities:

• Aid clients with ambulation and mobility
• Administer medication reminders
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions
• Transport clients to and from shops, pharmacies, or appointments
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion

Skills:

• One year of proven experience as an in-home caregiver (preferred)
• Knowledge and demonstration of DME such as hoist lifts, wheelchairs, transfer benches, walkers, and training
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response, CPR preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate attitude
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics

Compensation:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
