Days (Camillus) – Home Care Aide Jobs (PCA, HHA, CNA)

About the role

CareGivers is seeking a Home Care Aide who is certified as a PCA, HHA, or CNA. The position requires a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, as running errands or shopping for clients is part of the job. Mileage is paid.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment for clients to feel clean and refreshed (personal care)
• Learn and prepare simple meals for clients
• Tidy clients' homes to maintain their health
• Ensure clients follow their medication schedules
• Other care may be needed to keep clients safe

Requirements

• Must be certified as a PCA, HHA, or CNA
• Will assist current CNA's in transitioning to HHA with a free 1-day class
• Qualified nursing students can work as HHA's for us
• Must be caring, dependable, and meet health requirements
• Able to drive a reliable vehicle with a valid license
• Must be at least 18 years old

Qualifications

Must be able to pass a background check and meet all health requirements.

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive situations
• Basic first aid knowledge
