Responsibilities

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures.
• Cleaning duties include: sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, window cleaning, and moving furniture and equipment.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE where required.
• Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security system as required.
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and support overall team effort, including being in uniform, dependable, and on time.
• Show respect and understanding for co-workers and customers.
• Communicate effectively in English.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper is a plus but not required.
• Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus.
• Ability to be flexible, work at a fast‑pace, and handle multi‑tasked situations.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional appearance (uniform).
• Respectful and understanding toward co‑workers and customers.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
• Constant physical demands: standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead and forward (up to 100% of the time).
• Ability to read cleaning instructions and differentiate between cleaning products and their proper uses.
