Daycare Team Lead - La Petite Academy, N Pecos Rd.

About the role

As a Team Lead at a child care center, you will inspire children to become lifelong learners while taking the next step in your teaching career. You will promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care, with classroom instruction comprising at least 50% of your weekly schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and support center success
• Manage, train, and mentor new hires and fellow Teachers while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children
• Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children

Qualifications

• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred

Pay

• Team Lead: $16.83–$17.49 per hour
• Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options
• Compensation based on position, education, and experience

• Monday through Friday work week
