About the role

The Pediatric Movement Center (PMC) is a therapist-owned, pediatric outpatient clinic with locations in Hagerstown and Frederick, Maryland. We provide speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, developmental classes, and community programs to children and young adults up to age 21.

Responsibilities

• Provide the basic skills of socialization and learning in a nurturing environment
• Employ a variety of educational techniques, such as storytelling and educational play
• Ensure safety
• Maintain a clean and tidy gym/classroom space
• Maintain a nap and feeding schedule for each child
• Attend weekly meetings with the supervisor
• Update the system with each child's daily activities

Requirements

• One year working in childcare is preferred
• CPR certified (or able to obtain)
