About the role

As an Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher, you will follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom. You will develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families. You will complete extensive training that provides insight on child care, preschool, and development topics, and implement our proprietary curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards for daily child care.
• Observe, assess, and plan for children’s development.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete extensive training on child care, preschool, and development topics.
• Implement proprietary curriculum and create interactive learning experiences.
• Engage in physical activity with children, both indoors and outdoors.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience leading an early childhood classroom and creating educational lesson plans in a licensed center.
• Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units.
• Ability to meet state requirements for background checks, immunizations, CPR/First Aid, and mandated reporter training.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• At least 18 years of age.

Pay

Lead Teacher pay range: $19.56–$20.32, based on position, education, and experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday work week.
