Daycare Lead Teacher - Full Time

About the role

The Daycare Lead Teacher plays a vital role in the development of young children by providing care and education in a safe and nurturing environment by creating lesson plans, ensuring safety and supporting children's development. This position requires active participation with the other members of the teaching team, and parents to assess and address the needs of individual children and ensure that the child's and family’s needs are supported.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement lesson plans that support children's learning and development
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the care
• Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth
• Communicate regularly with parents to discuss their child's progress and needs
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other teachers and staff
• Assess and address the needs of individual children

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience working with children
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for working with children and families

Pay

$13.91 - $15.08 per hour

Schedule

Full Time – 30-35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
