About the role

Little Sprouts – Norwood is seeking an Infant Teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants aged 0-12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for infants
  • Monitor and record infant growth and development milestones
  • Cook and prepare nutritious meals for infants and staff
  • Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to maintain a safe and healthy learning environment
  • Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates and address concerns

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • At least one year of experience working with infants
  • Valid Massachusetts Child Care Worker License
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

  • Strong commitment to early childhood education principles
  • Experience with infant feeding and diapering
  • Knowledge of infant nutrition and safety guidelines

Skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
