Daycare Center Team Lead - Creative Kids, Fort Apache Rd.

About the Role

As a Team Lead, you will promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children, lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and mentor fellow teachers. You will also take on leadership duties in the absence of the Director or Assistant Director, ensuring the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and company standards.

• Teacher: Lead classroom instruction (at least 50% of weekly schedule) and curriculum implementation.
• Communicator: Build relationships with families to support child achievement and center success.
• Mentor: Train and mentor new hires and fellow teachers while creating fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Leader: Assume Director or Assistant Director duties, including opening and closing the school, when needed.
• Expert: Ensure compliance with all licensing guidelines and company standards for child care.

Requirements

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA (preferred).
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• At least 18 years of age.

Pay

Compensation based on position, education, and experience. Lead Teacher pay range: $16.83–$17.49 per hour. Bi-weekly and daily pay options available.

Schedule

Monday through Friday work week.
