About the role

This position involves caring for the daily needs of children while maintaining a fun, organized, and clean classroom environment. The role also includes engaging with children and their families, and developing plans based on observations and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Requirements

• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children.
• Knowledge of child development and safety practices.

Skills

• Ability to follow instructions and guidelines.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Pay

Compensation based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options - Assistant Teacher: $21.44-$22.28

Schedule

Monday through Friday work week.
