Daycare Assistant Teacher

About the role

Children's Lighthouse of Parker is hiring Assistant Teachers and Teachers to Train. We offer training to become a Teacher and provide a full curriculum in all classrooms, along with creative activities and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide a positive and nurturing environment for the children
• Responsible for the health and safety of the children
• Participate in weekly lesson plans that include engaging activities
• Maintain a tidy and organized classroom
• Attend professional development

Requirements

• The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude and be able to contribute positively to the program
• Pass FBI and State background clearance upon hire
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Dependable and professional
• Loves children
• Patient and flexible

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is preferred but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow through on tasks and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of early childhood education and development

Pay

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
