About the role

The Kid's Club Attendant ensures the Kid's Club delivers a safe and positive member experience. Responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and adhering to team member basics such as punctuality and dress code. The attendant creates a secure, interactive, and enjoyable space for children while following all Kid's Club policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Child Care
  • Provide attentive child care, paging parents or guardians for discipline or personal needs as required.
  • Engage children with games and approved activities in a positive and professional manner.
  • Administer first aid according to company policy when necessary.
  • Maintain a friendly, caring, and approachable attitude with children and parents at all times.
• Customer Service
  • Keep the Kid’s Club area clean and maintained to company standards.
  • Ensure all toys and objects are clean and safe for use.
  • Follow all safety procedures to guarantee the well-being of children in the Kid’s Club.
  • Report member complaints and incidents to the Kid's Club Supervisor, Lead, or Operations Manager.
  • Notify the Kid's Club Supervisor, Lead, or Operations Manager of any child health concerns to determine if a Health Alert is needed.
• Administration
  • Provide parents with copies of Kid’s Club policies.
  • Confirm that members using Kid’s Club have paid for the service and verify their membership type (ultimate or fitness).
  • Ensure parents or guardians sign a Kids Club Agreement and complete an emergency information card.
  • Verify that the individual checking in the child is listed on the Kid's Club Agreement/Information Card.
  • Ensure parents or guardians sign the Kid's Club Register during check-in and check-out.
  • Confirm proper payment is received for Kid’s Club services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR/AED certification required.
• Trust Line certification and LiveScan clearance required.
• State-specific certifications may be required (consult manager for details).

• Experience working with children.
• Patience in handling children and customer interactions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a keen focus on safety.
• Energetic, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to adhere to meal and rest break periods and accurately clock in/out for shifts.

This position reports to the Kid's Club Supervisor, Kids Club Lead, Operations Manager, or General Manager. It may involve interaction with all levels of management and staff within the clubs and the broader Kids Club Team.
