About the role

The Behavioral Health Program Therapist position will be responsible for providing mental health assessment and group therapeutic treatment to patients on all units of inpatient psychiatry at Regions Hospital as well as in Daybridge Partial Hospitalization or Intensive Outpatient Program. Other responsibilities include establishing a treatment plan that may include coordination with other professional services, providing consultation and education about behavioral health issues and treatment, participating in program development; and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Mental health assessment and group therapeutic treatment to patients on all units of inpatient psychiatry at Regions Hospital as well as in Daybridge Partial Hospitalization or Intensive Outpatient Program.
  • Establishing a treatment plan that may include coordination with other professional services.
  • Providing consultation and education about behavioral health issues and treatment.
  • Participating in program development.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in a mental health profession.
  • Two years’ experience working in a mental health setting in the delivery of therapeutic treatment modalities.
  • License to practice as a mental health professional in Minnesota (LICSW).

Qualifications

  • Chemical Dependency background desirable referably, two years of clinical experience working with Adult Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) population.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Day Shift 8:00am-4:30pm
