Day Warehouse Selector

About the role

Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Full Time Day Warehouse Selector based out of our Des Moines Branch. We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 6 locations.

Responsibilities

• Navigate the warehouse, receive/unload inbound freight, and use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to build pallets.
• Ensure all customer orders are accurately picked and loaded on trucks to be shipped internally and externally.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• All other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse and pallet jack experience preferred.
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment for 8+ hours.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75+ lbs. occasionally.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to take direction from all levels of management.
• Able to work independently within a team setting.
• Able to read, write, and speak English for the automated headset.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment at all times and follow all safety guidelines.

Skills

• Safety awareness.
• Warehouse operations.
• Order picking and packing.
• Equipment operation (pallet jacks and forklifts).

Pay

$16 per hour.

Schedule

8 AM to 4:30 PM.

Days Off

Thursday & Saturday.

Working

Sunday – Wednesday, Friday.
