About the Role

Lead and positively coach warehouse team members to select, replenish, receive, and load product for customer orders safely, accurately, and efficiently. As a first-line leader, you will motivate and engage associates to achieve accurate Receiving, proper scanning during replenishments, and meet Key Performance Indicators (Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost).

Responsibilities

Engage team members to consistently achieve and/or exceed individual performance goals and objectives by positively leading by example.
Proactively identify and remove obstacles for teams and individual team members.
Fully support the consistent application of all policies, procedures, and guidelines while leading by example and effectively communicating expectations.
Responsible for associate development through positive coaching and training on policies, procedures, and equipment.
Proactively identify safety hazards and resolve or report them appropriately.
Accountable for maintaining the physical condition of the warehouse and its equipment, including issuing work orders for repairs or replacements.
Lead teams to support assigned daily/weekly cleaning schedules and plans.
Analyze current operations and recommend improvements for expense and cost control.
Support business change and development through process improvements.
Work with operations management to reduce damages and ensure accurate reporting of damaged inventory.
Coach team members to accurately use voice and computer systems to reduce “mis-picks,” improve inventory accuracy, and support a balanced incentive program.
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Support warehouse operations regarding employee schedules, workloads, and productivity, identifying obstacles for supervisors and managers.
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety requirements.
Assume additional responsibilities to support shift efforts in achieving or exceeding Key Performance Indicators.

Requirements
