Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our day shift to supervise nursing care delivery and ensure excellent clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction. The Charge Nurse is responsible for directing nursing staff, coordinating care, and ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff during assigned shift
• Deliver and oversee high-quality resident care
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Communicate resident condition changes to physicians and families
• Assign CNA duties, breaks, and resident assignments
• Lead shift huddles and communicate updates to leadership
• Complete accurate documentation and incident reports
• Maintain infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Participate in surveys and inspections
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet resident needs

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved practical nursing program
• Active LPN license in the state of practice
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong leadership, clinical, and documentation skills
