Day Shift Hospitalist in Round Rock, TX - 62205BR

About the role

This is an established program between TeamHealth and HCA. Our physicians work a traditional 7-on, 7-off schedule with shifts from 7am to 7pm, 12pm to 12am, and 7pm to 7am.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team of 6 physicians, including 5 rounding physicians, 1 dedicated admittance physician, 1 swing physician, and 1 hospitalist who rounds in an acute inpatient rehab.
• Handle 10 admissions per shift during the night shift (7p-7a).
• Collaborate with a rapid response team to manage codes.
• Utilize Meditech as the EMR system at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center.

Full specialty support is available, and the position requires a commitment to providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
• At least 3 years of hospitalist experience preferred.
• Experience with Meditech is beneficial but not required.
