About the role
Caring Places Management is seeking a Day Shift Caregiver for San Juan Villa, a memory care community in Port Townsend, WA. This position offers a competitive wage range of $20-$22 per hour, DOE, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, telehealth/telemedicine, dental and vision insurance, a Health Savings Account, a 401K plan with employer matching, and generous paid time off.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to residents in a homelike environment.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Maintain a safe and clean living space for residents.
- Engage in social activities to promote resident well-being.
- Document resident care activities and progress in a timely manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds regularly.
- Prior experience working with seniors or in an assisted living environment is preferred but not required.
